It was well over 10 years ago, Plazmo Industries Inc. realized a void in the LCD repair industry and decided to tackle this problem head on.

A couple of very high priced desktop monitors that were vital to the operation of the company at the time had suddenly gone dark, prompting personnel to look for a repair option over simply replacing , which at the time, were very expensive monitors.

Having no luck finding the small lamps needed to repair these monitors the only option was to purchase these new LCD screens direct from the manufacturer at a cost of several thousand dollars. This did not sit well with the owners and it became obvious that millions of dollars per year were being wasted unecessarily  on the purchase of new LCD screens. It seemed the manufacturers of these screens had no intention of offering the  relatively inexpensive components (CCFL lamps) that would keep these monitors in service for many years to come, after all they were in the business of selling new screens.

Having realized this problem early on Plazmo Industries set course to help businesses like there own, save money by making these parts available to the public and thus the CCFL replacement lamp market was born.
