The backlights on industrial equipment are used for hours at a time. With that much constant usage, they eventually burn out or break. Instead of replacing the entire unit or even the whole screen, you can often replace the backlight bulb to bring your equipment screens back up to perfect condition. Behind each LCD screen is a CCFL or LED light bulb, or a series of them, that light up the whole screen. Plazmo manufactures and sells replacement CCFL light bulbs and LED light bulbs as well as the necessary assemblies to make repairs. Plazmo’s experts will work with you to develop and prototype a CCFL backlight that will fit your equipment’s specifications. The custom designs Plazmo offers even include CCFL to LED conversions. These kinds of conversions allow you to update the backlight assembly in your equipment’s LCD screen to a light bulb that offers a longer working life.
Through Plazmo you can purchase the replacement lights and do some simple soldering on your own, or you can purchase the full drop-in assemblies that are ready to be placed behind the LCD screen.
